Steelman EngineEAR II Noise and Vibration Detection System quickly pinpoints noises and locations of worn bearings & bushings, noisy valves & lifters, broken or worn gear teeth, faulty fuel injectors, wind or air leaks, and annoying squeaks and rattles. This EngineEAR system features a dB meter with 7 sound-level control settings, measuring 60 dB to 120 dB for super-sensitive noise pick-up and limited distortion of unwanted sounds, and the high and low settings on the meter allow the interpretation of sound on both levels. The dB meter also allows users to detect when the battery is low, and professional headphones are included to shut out surrounding sounds. The non-conductive microphone will not zap expensive computer circuitry, and a flexible shaft is also included to reach the tightest areas.
