Meltblown Hazmat Socks measure 96"-long with a 3" diameter, with 15 socks included per box. MBT's spunbond-covered socks are soft and stretchable, designed to contain and absorb runaway fluids, most commonly to prevent fluids from spilling out into walkways or open drains. Hazmat socks are off-yellow tubular sleeves filled with super-absorbent and treated meltblown polypropylene particulate, normally used in laboratory-type environments to absorb corrosive/caustic fluids, though this sorbent's ability to absorb most aggressive (acidic/caustic) and non-aggressive fluids (oil, water, glycols, etc.) without deteriorating makes it a great no guesswork sorbent. MBT's socks are also useful for emergencies, and the durable spunbond sleeve absorbs and draws fluids into the fluffy, fibrous center of the fabric.
