Meltblown Single-Weight SMF Composite Universal Pads measure 15" x 19", with 200 pads included per bale. MBT's dual-textured SMF pads are a 3-ply composite of spunbond, meltblown, and fine fiber polypropylenes, with one slick and durable side and the other soft and super-absorbent, and these gray-colored, univeral pads absorb most aggressive (acidic/caustic) and non-aggressive fluids (oil, water, glycols, etc.). These 3-ply, lightweight pads are used to absorb the majority of a spill, and the high-versatility of this multi-purpose sorbent allows it to be used for virtually any in-plant application. Both surfaces of this sorbent feature ultra-thin coverings, and SMF products perform especially well as traffic mats, with the fine fiber's tacky surface made to grip cement floors and the spunbond's resilient surface made to withstand foot traffic. The spunbond side also forms a highly-durable and virtually lint-free filter that can handle the thickest of fluids, creating a slick, abrasion-resistant texture for wiping grease off hands, tools, etc., and the soft and porous texture of the fine fiber side creates a super-absorbent layer for quickly absorbing fluids and drawing them into the fibrous center of the fabric.
