Meltblown 8" x 10' Oil-Only Current Booms - MBT-B810SN

Meltblown Oil-Only Current Booms measure 10'-long with an 8" diameter, with 4 booms included per bale. MBT's oil-only booms are oleophilic and hydrophobic to restrict marine-based oil spills from spreading while absorbing hydrocarbon-based fluids (oil, gasoline, diesel, hydraulic fluids, etc.) at the same time. These white-colored booms are designed to link together to form a continuous absorbing barrier around the perimeter of a spill, allowing the use of pads, rolls, and sweeps to do most of the work by absorbing the interior of the spill, and these water-repellent, 8” booms absorb an average of 56 gallons per bale, typically used in bodies of water that have a current. These absorbent booms are maufactured using the highest quality materials, allowing each boom to be strong enough to withstand the elements, and the combination of each unit's components, including a sock and net covering, produces the finest boom in the industry, consisting of metal O-ring fasteners, metal snap hooks, a polyester net, a polypropylene inner sleeve and rope stabilizer, and a meltblown polypropylene inner filler.
