Auto Meter Variable-Load Carbon Pile Battery and Electrical System Tester analyzes 6V and 12V automotive and commercial starting batteries, as well as 12V and 24V starting and charging systems, featuring a max battery CCA of 1600 and a carbon pile load of 800 amps. In addition to a standard battery check and load test, this professional, portable unit performs a manual voltage drop test, a starter draw test, and both a stator/diode test and regulation test on the alternator. This bench-top model carbon pile tester also features a digital volt scale, digital LCD display, 15 second timer, amp probe, external volt leads, 800-amp clamps, a 5" cooling fan, and top-mounted flip-chart instructions, and an optional ES-8 equipment stand is available separately.
