Associated Equipment Automated 12/24V Battery and Electrical Systems Tester, with a 500-amp load, tests electrical systems on 12-, 12/24-, and 24-volt vehicles without using dirty, maintenance-prone carbon piles. After the discharge current is entered, this unit will automatically perform a BCI battery test, the most accurate means of testing a battery, and testing for the alternator and starter is also automated, simplifying the use of this very versatile electrical tester. The tester comes with comes with 8' external voltage leads (4 AWG) to record a range of both voltage readings, allowing for easy testing of electrical systems, and current values, turning many two-person operations into an individual job. This made-in-the-USA product interprets data with a digital voltmeter (0-45V DC) and ammeter (0-999A), featuring easy-to-read LED displays, and the tester also includes 500-amp safety clamps with "Flexi-Spring" cable guards and patented side terminal adapters. A detachable inductive pick-up is also included, which can be used to read current throughout an elctrical system, and a 1-year "parts and labor" warranty is included for all components.
